As part of the registration service with Planetdomain, customers get access to a number of free services for their domain names, as well as their business. One of those services is Business Profile – a one page website creator, allowing customers who do not wish to create an entire website to list their business contact information for visitors of their address on the Web.
To take advantage of the Business Profile for your newly registered domain name, please follow these steps:
1. Login to your Account level console using the Master Account Reference and Password.
2. Locate Administer/Upgrade domain along the left hand side of the page.
3. Search for or select the domain which you’d like to configure Business Profile for.
4. Click [Administer].
5. Click [Business Profile].
6. Enter your business contact information and click “modify” to save.
Can’t find the Business Profile option?
You probably didn’t choose to park the domain name during your registration application. Simply contact our Customer Service team if you’d like it enabled, however please make sure your domain is registered with us.
Changing the Template
By default, the Template used for the page is “The Parked Page”. This is the Planetdomain branded page and it is best to change the Template to prevent any confusion for your visitors who might wish to contact you.
Click the Template drop down menu to select “Business Profile” Template to get a clean page with your business information.
Adding a Logo
To upload a logo to your Business Profile page:
1. Click [Browse] against the “Upload Logo” field
2. Select an image from your computer
3. Click [modify]
Once uploaded, the logo will be added above the Company Name. Check the “Preview of selected template” area of this page to ensure it looks correct. If the image is too large, you will need to resize it before re-uploading it here.
Note: Accepted file formats for the Logo image are JPEG, PNG, GIF
